Dear Mom, Dad, Sis and Bro in law,
I hope you are having a fabulous time in Costa Rica! I'm pretty sure when your plane took off you sucked all of the warm air out of the continental U.S. It is COLD here! The weather man keeps repeating the words "Arctic air mass" which is something you just don't hear in the south very often! So while you are enjoying the sand and sun, just wanted you to know that all of the rest of us are back home freezing our asses off!

P.S. - our frig decided to go on the fritz while you are away, but not to worry it is so freakin' cold here I put all of the food outside to stay cold!

We were really lucky and managed to escape the coldest week of the season in Minneapolis. Wish you could have been in Costa Rica with us!
